Returns & Refunds

We want you in kit that fits and feels right. Standard ready-to-wear items can be returned within 7 days of delivery. Custom embroidery and made-to-measure work, by their nature, cannot. Read on for the details.
The 7-day window
You may return any standard, unworn, unaltered item within 7 calendar days of delivery for a refund or exchange. The 7 days start the day after the courier marks your order delivered.
What we can’t take back
The following are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where defective or materially different from your order:
- Embroidered name patches, ship names and rank insignia made to your specification.
- Made-to-measure uniforms, jackets, trousers and mess dress.
- Caps, belts and accessories that have been engraved, monogrammed or otherwise personalised.
- Innerwear, socks and items marked “final sale”.
- Items returned beyond the 7-day window.
- Items returned without original tags, packaging or proof of purchase.
How to start a return
- Open the order in Your orders and tap Request Return. Pick the items, the reason, and add a note if it helps.
- We confirm by email within 1 business day with a Return Authorisation (RA) number and pickup details. (No account? Email orders@jahaazi.in with your order number.)
- Pack the item with all original tags and packaging. Write the RA number clearly on the outside.
- We arrange a free reverse pickup via our courier partner for serviceable pincodes; for non-serviceable pincodes you ship it back at your cost and we reimburse on receipt.
- Once the item reaches us we inspect it (typically within 2 business days) and process the refund within 5 business days of approval.
Refunds
- Refunds go back to the original payment method. Card / UPI / net banking refunds typically take 5–7 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.
- For COD orders, refunds are processed via NEFT to a bank account you nominate.
- Shipping charges (where paid) are non-refundable unless the return is because of our error.
- If you used a promo code, the refund is for the amount actually paid, not the pre-discount price.
Exchanges
We are happy to exchange any eligible item for a different size or colour, subject to availability. The replacement ships free once we receive and approve the returned item.
Defective or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, email orders@jahaazi.in within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will replace the item at our cost or refund you in full, including original shipping charges. This applies even to custom items.
Cancellations
- Standard items can be cancelled any time before they ship — typically a 24-hour window.
- Custom and made-to-measure orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order; after that production has usually begun and cancellation is at our discretion.
- Once an order is in transit it can no longer be cancelled; treat it as a return after delivery.
Returns address
Do not ship returns without first obtaining an RA number — packages without one will be refused. The current returns address is shared with the RA email; we route to whichever workshop or warehouse is nearest you.
